Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne scored as Manchester City beat Girona 2-0 in a friendly on Saturday.

De Bruyne opened the scoring at the Academy Stadium inside five minutes when he intercepted a disastrous short pass from Girona goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga on the edge of the box and slotted home.

The Belgium international turned supplier shortly after, delivering a low cross to Haaland who provided a tidy finish to double City's advantage.
