Real Madrid striker Karim Benzemawas the star of the Premios Marca awards ceremony, where he was presented with the Pichichi Trophy as the leading marksman of the last LaLiga campaign, which saw him net 27 goals in 32 games.

Benzema was also the winner of the Alfredo Di Stéfano Trophy for the best player in LaLiga 2021-22, which ended in Real Madrid's 35th league title; plus the MVP Trophy as the fans' favourite player.
