Top Gun: Maverick has just officially become the seventh highest-grossing film of all time domestically, surpassing James Cameron's Titanic.

The sequel to the 1986 hit was already Tom Cruise’s highest-grossing film and first-ever billion dollar movie, so this is another major win for the actor.

The sequel to the 1986 classic has earned more than $662 million in the U.S. since its release, according to data from IMBb’s Box Office Mojo, while globally it has raked in over $1.35 billion.
