In a new report, Variety affirms that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise will earn $100 million or more “from ticket sales, his salary and his eventual cut of home entertainment rentals and streaming revenue.” Unsurprisingly, he is the highest-paid actor of the year, by a large margin.

Tom, who stars in Top Gun: Maverick, and has also produced the hit film. Maverick released in May and reportedly earned $1.2 billion globally, making it the first Tom Cruise movie to pass the billion-dollar mark at the box office.

Top Gun: Maverick is now Paramount's highest grossing movie ever worldwide taking in $1.2 billion globally and the first of Cruise's movie to pass the billion dollar mark.
