Irregularities have been found in the construction of the building of the Supreme Court. In the annual report of the Auditor General's Office 2079, serious questions have been raised saying that there are irregularities in the construction of the Supreme Court building.
On Chait 19, 2077, an agreement was signed with Kalika-Samanantar JV for about 5 arab 19 crore 86 lakh 32 thousand to build a building behind the current Supreme Court building. The company, which was awarded the contract to be finished on 18 chaitra, 2080, has so far been paid around Rs 1 arab 3 crore. The Acting Chief Justice has even made preparations to investigate the involvement of suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra in the construction of the building.
There is a provision that the contractor will be given only 5 percent for the construction of the building when the building construction agreement is signed. However, 20 percent or Rs 1 arab 3 crore has already been paid to the contractors against the law. The Accountant General has raised serious questions in this regard. There is news in today's Rajdhani dainik.
