The Karnali state government has spent Rs 10.23 billion in 10 days. The amount has been spent between June 29 to July 09.

Out of the total budget of 36.57 billion for the current Fiscal Year, 23.99 billion rupees or 62.37 percent of the budget has been spent till July 09. The government, which has implemented 35.77 percent of the budget in 11 and a half months, has spent 26.6 percent of the budget in just 10 days of July. Earlier, the government had spent Rs 2.16 billion from June 15 to June 29.

Like in previous years, the government has failed to implement the budget for the current fiscal year. The state government has been sharply criticized for not improving the state of budget implementation despite the change in government.
