It has been alleged that the public prosecutor has pressured the victim's family not to take the case to the court in the case of the death of a 15-year-old Binod Shahi of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-4 of Achham.  

According to the victim's family, Assistant District Attorney Kaushal Prasad Dhungana of the District Public Prosecutor's Office, Achham, called the relatives of the deceased to the office and pressured them not to take the case to court and also told, it would be beneficial to move forward according to his opinion. 

Victim's family claimed that the mayor of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality, Ambika Chalaune, had returned from Dhangadhi with the public prosecutor and was arrested by the police from near to the public prosecutor's office.
